50 years ago the "Craveri" of Bra reopened to the public, returning to being a Museum of Natural History. It was December 22, 1974: after two years of work to reorganize the rooms under the direction of Father Ettore Molinaro and the transfer of the Archaeology, History and Art section to Palazzo Traversa, Casa Craveri, after almost sixty years, returned to its original destination, as a museum dedicated solely to Natural History.
On Saturday 7 December 2024, starting at 3:30 pm, the important anniversary of the refoundation of the Civic Museum will be celebrated with a special guided tour of the rooms accompanied by Domenico Brizio, Roberto Tibaldi and Rino Brancato who will illustrate how, in half a century of history, the "Craveri" has become one of the most important Naturalistic Museums in Piedmont.
Afterwards, in memory of Ettore Molinaro, historic director and supporter of the rebirth of the Museum, a dedicated concert will be held in the Choir of Santa Chiara with music by C.P.E. Bach and J.S.Bach, Chopin and Debussy, performed by Leonardo Platini on the flute and Domenico Boggione on the piano.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Association of Friends of the Museums of Bra and the Association Ettore Molinaro - Friends of Santa Chiara and will end with a small refreshment. Free admission.(em)
