This is a basic course, therefore for beginners, intended to provide:
a) the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge of clay processing, from the design of an artefact to its creation, using the main manual construction techniques: the slab, the dovetail and the thumb technique.
b) in the second phase the basic notions of decoration with engobe.
A small group of members is expected so that each participant can be followed individually.
The clay and the tools for its production are provided by the museum.
The cost of the firing is borne by the participants (the artefacts require more than one firing to complete the decoration cycle).
If the minimum number of participants expected is reached, the course will begin on October 2nd and end on December 4th, for a total of 10 lessons + one recovery lesson.
COURSE REGISTRATION: BY MONDAY 25 SEPTEMBER
HOURS: Monday 5.30pm - 7.30pm
COURSE ATTENDANCE FEE: €120.00
Payment must be made by the course start date (wait for confirmation that the course actually takes place, having reached the minimum number of participants).
Payment instructions will be sent, which must be made online on the PagoPA portal.
