Art takes center stage thanks to the exhibition dedicated to the artist Marta Czok

The new large exhibition that will grace the halls of Palazzo Mathis until November 24 was inaugurated on Saturday, September 8. It is the retrospective of Marta Czok entitled “Archivum”, the first chapter of a large international project launched by the foundation of the same name dedicated to the British artist, Italian by adoption.
The Palazzo Traversa Museum, as part of the educational program offered to schools, is offering the following for the occasion:

1) VISIT + ART WORKSHOP
Recipients: all primary school classes
Duration: 1 hour and a half (by reservation: first shift 8:30-10:00; second shift 10:30-12:00)
Inspired by some of Marta Czok's works, we will also pay homage to another great artist: Bruno Munari, drawing inspiration from his teachings on how to draw a tree, an element often present in the works on display.
After careful reflection on the themes of social inclusion and the pain generated by war, which accompany all of Marta Czok's production, participants will take part in a game-workshop in which they will create a gigantic TREE OF INCLUSIVITY, full of "fruits" that are all different, but all the same.

2) VISIT TO THE “ARCHIVIUM” EXHIBITION BY MARTA CZOK
Recipients: all classes of secondary school of 1st and 2nd grade
Duration: 1 hour (upon reservation: from Monday to Friday 8.30/12.00 - Saturday on request)
Palazzo Traversa offers the possibility of guided tours to get closer to the artistic parable of Marta Czok; walking through the rooms of this superbly set up exhibition, scathing but also terribly delicate, you discover an artist who goes against the grain, sarcastic, ironic, who in her paintings contains all the “truth” of the world.
In her works you can read the flow of life; on the canvas the staging of humanity takes shape and the artist, as a conscious and enlightened director, lets you guess what is hidden behind the lights of the stage, unmasking strong themes, such as war, immigration and an ever-growing civilization based on the god of money.
