After two years of pause due to the pandemic, on 14
May 2022 the appointment with the "Night of museums" returns, an event
that takes place simultaneously throughout Europe and which will allow
citizens and tourists to visit the city museums with one different
spirit, taking advantage of the charm of the night.
Thus the Civic
Museum of Archeology, History and Art of Palazzo Traversa, the Civic
Museum of Natural History "Craveri", the Toy Museum and the Zizzola,
which can be visited again with the multimedia Museum "Casa dei
Braidesi", will open their doors for free from 20 to 24. At the same
time, the exhibitions set up in the historic Palazzo Mathis in Piazza
Caduti per la Libertà will also be available, with free admission, where
citizens and visitors will be able to appreciate the permanent
exhibition of the works of Romano Reviglio and the personal exhibition
of Massimo Ricci “The voices of color”.
Given the young age of a part
of the public to which it is addressed, on Saturday 14 the Toy Museum
also provides afternoon initiatives: from 16 to 20 a Ludobus will in
fact be operational to entertain the little ones.
All museum
facilities will offer guided tours, but the evening will also be the
perfect opportunity to experience the new "Museinsieme" App, a digital
tool that allows you to have an in-depth tourist guide on your
smartphone, downloadable for free from the App stores. Users will thus
be able to visit the civic museums in full autonomy by accessing
detailed information on all the exhibits on display using the QR codes
affixed to the windows. In addition, the educational games included in
the application allow parents to submit to the smallest quizzes that are
fun and developed in order to make learning easier.
