Toy cars...what a passion!

The temporary exhibition features hundreds of models of toy cars, from the 1950s to today.
Toy cars...what a passion!" is the title of the temporary exhibition set up in the premises of the Toy Museum in Bra, open from Sunday 23 February 2025.
In the new display cases - installed specifically to host thematic exhibitions and to allow the public to discover the numerous toys donated by private individuals - hundreds of toy cars are on display: from 1950s cars to highly detailed and rare models from the early 2000s.
The temporary exhibition was set up on the occasion of the loan of some toys belonging to the Chiesa collection to the Automobile Museum in Turin, for the installation "C/ART".
With "Toy cars...what a passion!", the display cases of the Toy Museum feature rare pieces and pieces from Dinky Toys, Corgi Toys, Mercury and Shuco, as well as historic models from Airfix, Tamiya, Arii, Monogram and many other more or less famous brands that once delighted many children and, now, adult collectors and model makers. In addition to the carriages belonging to the museum's collection, unpublished pieces belonging to private collections are exhibited.
The exhibition can be accessed during the museum's opening hours, from February 23 until Easter. The Toy Museum can be visited (free admission for all citizens of Bra, 5 euros for others) every Sunday with a guided tour from 10:30 to 11:30 to 14:30 to 15:30 to 16:30, without the need for a reservation.
